Firing with hydrogen places high demands on flame monitoring. Already natural gas / hydrogen mixtures influence the flame geometries, which can make the use of a common ionisation monitoring system, which has proven itself with natural gas, more difficult. Optical flame monitoring systems are used for this purpose.
For forced draught burners with free flames, we rely on flame detectors with frequency evaluation in the UV/VIS/IR spectral range. We monitor surface burners with our UV flame monitoring systems.
Our development department is working on customer-specific solutions for the replacement of ionisation monitoring systems in wall or floor boilers.
