BST Solutions GmbH, founded in 2004 in Ratingen, offers solutions for flame monitoring in heating technology and industrial applications. For this purpose, BST Solutions GmbH uses the experience and patents of BFI Automation Mindermann GmbH, which has been active in the field of flame monitoring for power plants, petrochemical plants and gas turbines since 1973. This experience has encouraged us to work more closely together, also in economic terms. On 31.05.2023 BFI Automation Mindermann GmbH took over all shares of BST Solutions GmbH with retroactive effect from 01.01.2023.

Both companies merge to BFI Automation Mindermann GmbH.

Foundation of BST Solutions GmbH with the aim of selling flame detectors for original equipment manufacturers of heating technology and industrial firing equipment.
The compact flame detector KLC 2002 is introduced to the market.

BST Solutions GmbH receives certification according to DIN ISO 9001.
The compact flame detector KHM 100 is introduced to the market of industrial firing systems.

The ISH 100 UV compact flame detector for continuous operation is presented.
The UV compact flame detector KHM 50 for intermittent operation is introduced to the market.

The UV compact flame detectors KLC 1000 and KLC 1001 are presented.
The KLC 2002 and KHM 100 compact flame detectors receive CSA approval.

Entry into the American market
The KLC 2002 and KHM 100 compact flame detectors are UL certified.

The market launch of the UV compact flame detectors of the IFx series is started.

Over the years, BST Solutions has set a number of innovative milestones in flame monitoring technology.

In 2004, for example, a processor-controlled compact flame detector for heating technology was launched on the market for the first time with KLC 2002 and has since been sold in the hundreds of thousands. With the KLC 2002, for the first time a µP-controlled compact flame detector with a universal flame output signal circuit was offered, which allows a wide range of applications on various burner controls. The well over 20 patents in the field of flame monitoring of the Mindermann Group cover the entire spectrum of flame monitoring, from basic research to electronics.
